Manila, The Philippines. 09 March 2021 – Our ME-C Online courses are now delivered also from Manila, so as to better serve South Asia, Middle East and South-East Africa time zones.
The online training is offered by our Veritas Training Center – Manila branch and accredited by BV, under the strict guidelines of the manufacturer (Mitsui-MAN).
The duration of the course is 5 days and it is offered live, through Zoom, with the live presence of the instructor and the actual Mitsui-MAN MEC Engine Control System.
The Introduction to the Standard Operation of Electronic Engine e-Course focuses on the detailed presentation of Operation of Electronic Engine Main Propulsion onboard ships.
Topics included in the course:
• Introduction to the ME-C system and philosophy
• Engine control system
• Hydraulic power supply
• Hydraulic cylinder unit
• Fuel and Exhaust System
• Performance measurement and monitoring system (PMI and CoCoS-ESD)
All engine officers can attend the course, provided they can join the course through their computers and have a stable internet connection. A link for the online platform will be provided to each crew in order to access the course.
Both training and certification sections of this course are online. The assessment is completed online, under the supervision of our trainer. Upon successful completion, a copy (either hard copy or soft copy) of the certificate will be sent to the designated address.
