The new SIRE 2.0 regime brings about important updates in the inspection regime. It has been designed to give a more streamlined system that will help with compliance and enforcement, by integrating human factors into the inspection process. The overhauled inspection programme is expected to be more robust and to meet the changing risk profile of the tanker industry.

We are launching a series of new courses to meet the demands of the new SIRE 2.0 program. Our new catalogue includes:

  • SIRE 2.0 Familiarization Course – 1 day

This course is intended for Senior Deck and Engine Officers engaged in tanker vessel operation and aims in analyzing the SIRE 2.0 requirements.

 

  • Onboard Behavioral Competency -1 day

The course mainly deals with the non-technical skills dimension of competency and the different behavioral competency domains and their behavioral indicators relevant for shipboard operations, per OCIMF guidelines.

 

  • Onboard Assessor course (IMO Model course 1.30) – 2 days

This course is primarily intended for shipboard officers conducting in-service assessment of competence of a seafarer on board.

 

  • Mental Health Awareness – 1 day

The objective of this course is to is to provide an initial understanding of mental health awareness and the importance of promoting individual and crew wellbeing.
