Advanced Operation and Troubleshooting on Electronic Engine Course is a five-day course which focuses on the in-depth operation and troubleshooting of the electronic engine main propulsion. It includes a detailed analysis of the different electronic engine parts and components to enable safety service and maintenance of ME engines.The course deals with overhauling, design features, operating principles of the ECS and HCU components (FO Booster pump, Exhaust Valve Actuator, Lubricator Unit, FIVA Control valve). It also deals with Accumulator overhauling, pressure checking and nitrogen charging of the accumulator. In addition, the Exhaust Valve Overhauling, Design Features and Operating principles are discussed. It focuses as well on Alignment and Replacement of Tacho Angle Encoders.Another key feature of the course is troubleshooting of main engine by appropriate investigating HCU events, HPS events and CoCoS-EDS data. Practical Special Running Operations (Cut- out, Emergency Lubrications.) are included, as well as Case Study on different problems that can be encountered on Electronic Engine. This Course requires fourteen and a half (14.5) instructional hours and twenty-four and a half (14.5) practical hours. The instructional hours are intended for classroom instruction and the practical hours are intended for simulator and laboratory exercises. |
